Hardest and happiest time of my life by Eunhee Jang

Generally, the last year of high school in Korea is the hardest time of most teenagers’ life. They need to choose either getting a job or going to University and whichever they choose, life is not easy.

I went to a high school with a quite good reputation, so my senior year of high school was literally ‘HELL’. Most of my friends chose to go to college and we needed to study from 6 am to 12am. I even moved to a house closer to my school in order to save commuting time. However, I don’t think they were the hardest days of my life. Even though I had to spend most of the time studying, I enjoyed my studies and made lots of good friends. Because spending a lot of time at school was a good opportunity to spend more time with friends. In spite of the hard situation, I have enjoyed it.

I can image what life is like in the third year of high school. I never feel happy when I am studying. So, you are so good.

I know what you mean. When you were young you felt the days studying at school were hard, but after leaving school you noticed what a wonderful time it was. And now you are a student again. Enjoy your second school days!
