I would sleep at the airport...or try to find a cheap hotel near the airport!
I would phone my host family and ask them If I could spend the night there until the strike finished.
I would try to find another way to get home or I would stay longer and I would ask my host family if I could stay with them for some more days.
I would call or email my office and tell them I will try to come back as soon as possible.I would look for many airlines to check if there will be any seats available.I would try to find any flights which will leave earlier.
I would try to phone my travel agency in Spain to check any possibilities for my group.I would try to get a flight back home from another airport which hasn't shut down, maybe Gatwick.
